Keep Moving On

I’m really struggling with everything right now.  I know there must be down time to replinish my inventory and now is the time to get ready for all the fall festivals, carnivals and shows.  But all the prices are going up and my bill are due and I really need to sell what I have but I also need to build my fall inventory.  I love what I’m making and I just hope that people have the money to buy some of it in the fall.  I guess I can’t worry about things, I must just press forward and keep moving on.

Here is some of my new stuff

My New Necklace

My New NecklaceSomething interesting happened over the weekend.  I had a great inspiration for a necklace and I got busy making it.  I was cooking fathers day dinner and beading.  Having a wonderful time.  I wanted it to be two strands and since I’m really getting tired of the beading the same patterned necklaces I decided to do something different.  When I was finished — it was not like my vision and I really was not happy with it.  But I kept looking at it and even though it was not my vision, it was not overall bad, but still I’m not happy with it.  After spening more time with the necklace, it has truly grown on me and I’m beginning to belive that my vision was incorrect and I’ve decieded that this is a beautiful necklace.

Let me tell you what I did.  I have 2 strands of different beads that i would call a random pattern.  I used Amethyst, Lampwork Beads, Citrine, Czech Glass, Blue Lace Agate, Freshwater Pearls, Garnets, Pewter and Sterling Silver.  I used all the beads in  two strands that hang from mid neck down on the chest.  Those two strands are covered with a Sterling silver cone and above the cone are two more stands with nothing but citrine.  Held together with a Sterling Silver clasp.

It is a multi colored necklace that goes well with black or white or denim.

I’d love to know what you think of it.  Drop me a line.

Thanks

Helen
